Terms
Terms of use, the medical disclaimer, and what you may do with our data.
No medical advice
Baseline publishes journalism about medicine. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and no article accounts for your individual history, examination or circumstances. Nothing here creates a physician–patient relationship. Decisions about screening or treatment belong with a clinician who has examined you.
Accuracy
We take reasonable care with every figure and reference, and we date what we publish. Prices, programme contents and the state of the evidence all change. A figure carries the date we checked it and no warranty beyond that. Errors are handled through the corrections process.
Using the Baseline Index
The Index dataset is published under CC BY 4.0. Reuse it, including commercially, with attribution to Baseline and a link to the source page. The JSON endpoint is the intended access route.
Article text is not covered by that licence and remains © USP COMMERCE S.L.U.. Quote us with attribution, as you would any publication.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for decisions taken on the basis of material published here. Liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health, is unaffected.
Law
Spanish law applies, our publisher being established in Spain. Nothing here limits rights you hold as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence. Company details are in the imprint.
